Old Hyde Park Garden Club

Old Hyde Park Garden Club (OHPGC): This organization strives to enhance the beauty of the neighborhood and sponsors many social and community support projects. The OHPGC frequently hosts meetings or parties in neighborhood homes. Last year, OHPGC hosted a welcome coffee, a covered dish dinner, a holiday cocktail party and a slide tour of Ireland among other exciting events. OHPGC provides community outreach by sponsoring a school supply drive for children in need and a holiday toy drive for children of migrant farm workers. Each December, OHPGC dresses the neighborhood lamp posts in festive red bows and supports on-going beautification projects at Kate Jackson Park.
